Real life situations for imagination

Real life situations for imagination

These real life situations will help you to explore the nature of knowledge in imagination, as well as keeping you up-to-date with the latest debates and discussions related to the subject. We have provided a suggested knowledge question for each one, but please note that these are (mostly) designed simply to prompt debate and discussion, and provide a route into the relevant issues. It’s up to you to formulate a ‘proper’ second-order KQ, that might be suitable in a TOK essay or presentation.

As you explore and consider a RLS, think about its implications, how you might view it via different perspectives, and, of course, whether we can trust all the information being presented. For more help on identifying and developing knowledge questions, subscribe to our premium newsletter, which includes a consideration of 20 RLSs every month, taken from a wide variety of media sources around the world. The newsletter also provides essay and presentation tips, a focus on a particular WOK or AOK each month, and other ideas that will help you to take ownership of TOK.
